When did date night get so predictable?


We spend so much time organising everyone else’s lives that when we
finally get a night to ourselves, we often default to the easiest thing. Dinner.
Drinks. Maybe both.


And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But if every date starts to
 look the same, it is hardly surprising when they stop feeling memorable.
 Especially when you sit down, look at each other and somehow end up
 talking about the children anyway.

Alphabet Dating was created to shake that up a little. To give couples
something different to do together, something to laugh about, something to
 remember, and something that feels like it belongs to the two of you.

WHY THIS EXISTS

We spend years creating core memories for our children. I think we deserve to create a few of our own too.

WHAT IS ALPHABET DATING?


Alphabet Dating is the idea.

You work your way through the alphabet together, with each letter giving you a reason to try something different
for your date.


It gets you out of the habit of always defaulting to the same thing and gives you a bit of structure to actually keep
dating each other, rather than waiting until you suddenly realise you haven’t done anything together in months.


So, where does Alphabet Dating Co. come in?


This is where I take the planning off your hands.I find the experiences, organise the details and add the mystery, so you’re not spending your evenings scrolling for ideas or having the same “what do you want to do?” conversation until neither of you can be bothered anymore.
There are two ways to do it.

With a Private Mystery Date, I get to know the two of you and plan something specifically around you.
With a Curated Mystery Date, I’ve already chosen the date and the experience. You simply decide whether you can make it work.

Either way, the point is the same. You don’t have to plan another thing.

Your date is sorted but you don’t know exactly what you’re doing or where you’re going. So instead of the planning feeling like another job on the list, you actually get the fun bit: the anticipation, the clues, the guessing and something for the two of you to look forward to.


And most importantly, it’s booked!

HOW THE MYSTERY WORKS

  • Once you’ve booked, your date is in the diary.
  • While the booking window is still open, you can forget about it.
  • Once bookings close on Sunday 27th September, your mystery journey begins.
  • That’s when the clues start, the guessing begins and you start getting little pieces of information about your date.
  • Four weeks before the date, your first clue will arrive. Then another. Then one more.
  • A week before the date, I’ll send you the practical information you need so you can plan properly.
  • Then, 48 hours beforehand, you’ll finally find out where you’re going and what you’re doing.
  • You’ll always know enough before booking to make sure the experience is suitable for you. The mystery is supposed to be exciting, not inconvenient.

WHERE
Your date will take place in Sandhurst, Berkshire.


WHEN
Monday 26th October, from 7pm to 9pm.
So no need to take the day off. You can finish work, sort the kids and head out for your date.


HOW LONG
You’ll need approximately two hours.


EXPERIENCE LEVEL
It is beginner friendly. You do not need any previous experience or specialist skills.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
This date has been created for the two of you to take part together. Everything you need for the actual experience is included in the ÂŁ119.
You don’t need to arrange anything yourself. You just need to show up.


FOOD
Food is not included in this experience, so if you’d like to eat beforehand, please make your own plans.

WHY DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT?

Our first couples told us exactly why this works.


One of our original couples said:


“Different activity to what we would normally do, so we were interacting differently rather than just opposite each other for dinner.”


And I think that sums it up really well. Dinner is lovely. David and I love going out for dinner. But there’s something completely different about actually doing something together.


Another couple told me:

Which, if you’re a parent, probably sounds very familiar. We all mean to make the time. Then somehow another month disappears.

I think this might secretly be one of the biggest selling points. One of our couples said:


“We had a fun date, it was great that someone else had dealt with the planning and we just turned up. The time flew by!”


Because date night shouldn’t become another thing one of you has to organise. You already have enough to organise.

Sometimes trusting the mystery really pays off.

One of our original couples admitted that the uncertainty was outside their comfort zone.

A little bit about me, because you are trusting a stranger on the internet with ÂŁ119.


I’m Chido. I’m a wife, mum and the person behind Alphabet Dating Co.


The idea originally came from David, my husband and me trying to be more intentional about making time for ourselves while raising our kids, running businesses and dealing with normal grown up life.


But the organising side of this isn’t new to me.


I have a degree in Hospitality Management and spent my career working in hospitality and events before David and I ever started our own business. 

Planning, organising, looking after people and making sure everything runs properly is pretty much what I’ve always done.


Before Alphabet Dating, David and I built DaChi’s Restaurant to You, our Berkshire based hospitality business.


We've spent years going into people’s homes and looking after everything from dinner parties to milestone celebrations and the business was built heavily on recommendations, repeat customers and word of mouth.

So, while Alphabet Dating Co. itself is new, I’m not new to being trusted with people’s time, money or important occasions.


This really is an extension of something I’ve been doing my whole working life. I’m just using those skills in a slightly different way now.

Bookings open on Monday 21 September 2026 and places are available on a first come, first served basis.
If all nine places are taken before Sunday, I’ll close the doors early.

Once booking closes, that’s it for this date.


I don’t add couples afterwards because I want everyone taking part to go through the mystery journey together.


So, if you keep saying that you need to do more together but somehow another month passes without anything actually making it into the diary, here’s your chance.

The October Curated Mystery Date needs a minimum of four couples to go ahead.


If we don’t reach that number, you can either have your £119 refunded in full or move it across to another Curated Mystery Date.


The mystery is in what you’ll be doing, not in anything that affects your safety, accessibility or ability to take part.

A few things you might be wondering…


Is this a group date?

There will be other couples taking part in the same experience, but you’re very much on a date with your own partner. This isn’t couples networking and there’s no forced mingling.
When will we find out what we’re doing?

You’ll receive clues in the run up to your date, practical information a week beforehand, and the full reveal 48 hours before.


What does the ÂŁ119 include?

ÂŁ119 is for both of you and includes the experience itself, all the planning and organisation, and the full Alphabet Dating mystery journey from booking through to the reveal.


Is food included?

No. Food isn’t included in this particular date, so if you’d like to eat beforehand, please make your own plans.


What if the experience isn’t suitable for one of us?

You’ll always know enough before booking to decide whether the general nature of the experience is suitable. If you have an accessibility requirement or something I need to know about before you attend, just get in touch. justus@alphabetdatingco.co.uk


What happens if we can’t make it after booking?

Have a look at the Booking Terms before booking. They explain cancellations, transfers and what happens if your plans change.


What happens if the minimum number of couples isn’t reached?

The date needs a minimum of four couples to go ahead. If that minimum isn’t reached and I have to cancel, you’ll be offered a full refund or, if you prefer, the option to move your booking to another date.
